ABLE’s Virtual Race for Disability Justice
May 9, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
GCS Member Chloe Bertrand and her family are working with ABLE NH to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the passing of the Americans with Disabilities Act by holding a virtual walk/run/roll event that can be run anytime between May 9th and May 24th. Participants can choose 5k, 10k, 10 mile, or 30k distances, and all who sign up will be mailed a bib to use for their activity and either a white Gildan logo t-shirt (for 5k and 10k) or a Sport-Tek performance shirt (for 10 miles and 30k). 5k and 10k participants can also purchase the Sport-Tek shirt if they are interested.
ABLE NH is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for the civil and human rights of children and adults with disabilities, and promotes full participation by improving systems of supports, connecting families, inspiring communities, and influencing public policy. A good portion of every registration will go directly to ABLE NH so consider doing your walk/run/roll for a cause between May 9th and May 24th.
