Boston Marathon Bibs!

The club has received 3 invitational bibs for the Boston Marathon. The details were mostly finalized at last night’s executive board meeting. Keep an eye to your email for the submission form. It should be released around May 26th. As in prior years, the more active you are within the club – racing, volunteering, showing up at team activities – the more likely you are to win one of these coveted bibs. Plenty of volunteering opportunities coming up soon! Volunteering also helps satisfy one of the requirements for race reimbursement as races start coming back around.

Gate City Running Festival – This Sunday!!!

Who’s in for a FAST downhill mile and/or a 5k on the scenic Broad St Parkway. Just $25 per race or $35 for the double. A couple of volunteering spots are still open as well.Register here: http://www.lightboxreg.com/gcsmarathon_2021

Outdoor Track!

Track is back! We had a good showing last night at the return of outdoor track. We’re currently meeting at the field near the intersection of Sargents Ave and Manchester St in Nashua. We do have the approval to move to a school track in Hollis in about a month, but are currently finalizing that. We start announcements at 6pm and then the coaches take over from there. See you at track!

GCS/GLRR Challenge

Please remember to submit your times each week: https://glrr.net/2021-20k-relay-throwdown-results…/Still have room for more runners. Every point counts! Even if you think you’re slow, you CAN score for our team!Still have that sour taste in your mouth after we lost the Mill Cities Relay to Greater Lowell by a single point back in 2019? Here’s our chance to win back some redemption. Greater Lowell has challenged us to a team challenge. Teams of 3 will compete for 6 weeks – two individuals will run a 5k, the third will run a 10k. Those results will be submitted each week, and the points will be scored based on age groups like we see at Mill Cities (open (m/f/coed), sub-masters (30-39) (m/f/coed), masters (40+) (m/f/coed), etc). In the end, the points will be added up and a winner will be crowned. There is also an individual component. Everyone is a part of our team here! Start thinking of your teammates, come up with a great name. Sign-ups and more info here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/250791246732448
