It was a great team victory at the Boot Scootin’ Boogie on Saturday night! Over 50 striders toed the line, scoring 194 points in the initial standings. We beat out Greater Derry (148 points) and Upper Valley (80) to extend our lead in the New Hampshire Grand Prix. Next Race is in September. #back2back#everyrunnercounts#everypointcounts

Trail series ended for the season on Monday night with the PR race. Thankfully we were able to avoid the Thunderstorms and had 180+ runners join us. A HUGE Thank You to all of you who volunteered at some point during the year.

Our next speaker night will be on September 16th with Laura Casterline of Nutrition in Motion. She’ll be talking about overall nutrition and how to fuel for long runs, etc. Come join us at the Nashua Country Club at 6:30pm on September 16th. First drink is on the club.

Just the ever popular PR race on August 19th remaining at Trail Series. We’ve been seeing record numbers this year! We’re also looking for a couple of Striders to step up and take over as co-race directors. Please let myself or a board member know if you are interested.

We’re currently in first place, but we need every point we can get going into the last few races. Even if you think you aren’t fast enough, you might surprise yourself and score points for the club. It’s all in who shows up. Every Runner Counts, Every Point Counts. Please make sure Mark Furler knows you are running.

There are 2 more races left in the Summer Trail Series program including the popular PR race on August 19th. We’ve been seeing record numbers this year, another 270 runners this past Monday night. We’re also looking for a couple of Striders to step up and take over as co-race directors. Please let myself or a board member know if you are interested.

Tonight is Health and Wellness night at the track. Come check out all of the vendors and get some free Hayward’s Ice Cream afterwards.

Next Tuesday, August 13th is the new Gate City Hayward’s fun run. We had a great showing – over 100 people – last time. Please remember to park across the street from Hayward’s and wear your GCS Red!https://www.facebook.com/events/2320356598217386/
