Bretton Woods Fell Race

Mountain Series

Location: Bretton Woods Ski Area, 99 Ski Area Road, Bretton Woods NH

Course details: The Fell Race “long course” will include six (6) checkpoints (CPs) placed throughout the Bretton Woods ski area. You may choose any route you wish to travel between checkpoints. The long course will also have a “safe route” marked. You must visit all checkpoints in order. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. Course marshals will monitor some of the CPs. Trail maps with the CPs and descriptions will be available on the morning of the race. Any and all outside maps as well as GPS are permitted.

Greylock Road Race

Location: Mt. Williams Reservoir, Notch Road/Pattison Road, North Adams MA

Course details: 8 miles on paved road to the summit of Mt. Greylock, the highest peak in Massachusetts- elevation 3491 ft

Awards: 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall male and female

Loon Mountain Race

Location: Loon Mountain Resort, 60 Loon Mountain Road, Lincoln NH

Course details: 6.6 miles; 3200 foot elevation gain; trail, grass ski slope, cat track

Mt. Ascutney Foot Race

Location: Mt. Ascutney, 1826 Back Mountain Road, Windsor VT

Parking: Parking across the street from Ascutney Mountain in the grass lot

Course details: 3.7 miles. Ascend 2300 feet

Awards: 3 deep

Cranmore Mountain Race

Mountain Series

Location: Cranmore Mountain, 1 Skimobile Road, North Conway NH

Course details: 2-lap up and down format with approximately 2,400 feet of elevation gain and descent. The course consists of grassy ski slope, cat-track service road and singletrack

 

Wachusett Mountain Race

Location: Wachusett Mountain Ski Resort, Rt. 31, Princeton MA

Parking: Parking at the ski resort parking lot

Course details: The Race Begins at the bottom of Mile Hill Road at the junction of Boulton Road. The race goes uphill 1.2 miles to the DCR Visitors Center entrance where the race turns right. The race goes thru the gate on the right onto Summit Road

Pack Monadnock 10 Miler

Location: Wilton-Lyndeborough High School, 57 School Road, Wilton NH

Parking:  Parking is at the Temple Mountain parking lot across from Miller State Park, and near the race start at Wilton Lyndeborough High School

Course details: The race course follows paved and gravel country roads with uneven surfaces and potholes. It is the runner’s responsibility to exercise caution during this event. The local police have stressed the importance of giving right-of-way to the vehicles on the road

Awards: Top male and female overall and the top male and female in each age group will be awarded. The top overall relay team, top masters and top senior relay teams will also be awarded

Sleepy Hollow Mountain Race

Location: Sleepy Hollow Ski and Bike Center, 427 Ski Lodge Drive, Huntington, VT

Parking: Carpooling strongly recommended; Depending on how many separate cars arrive at Sleepy Hollow, there may need to be parking along the driveway up to the Start/Finish area once this upper lot fills. This driveway is about a half mile long, so arrive early to leave extra time for walking

Course details: 6.4miles up and down; mix of 3 meter wide mowed trails and single track; mostly wooded, with sections of open field; aid stations with fluids in two locations: 1.) Along Liberty Meadow Trail at the 1.5-mile mark, near the end of Segment 1 2.) In Molly’s Meadow, at the 4.5-mile mark, by the finish area/end of Segment 2

Awards: Goodies & Cash to Top 3 male and female overall . Top 3 in age categories Junior, Open, Masters, Senior, Veteran, and Super-Veterans will also receive an award. The first Male and Female to reach the course’s high point, Adirondack View, will win a King of the Mountain prize
