Charity Virtual Races

During this time of virtual races and solo running, the Gate City Striders would like to share races that are focused on charitable giving.  Please stay safe while enjoying your run on the roads and trails!

Here is a list on RunReg of various local and out of state virtual races.

Gate City Social Distancing Running Series benefiting the Nashua Soup Kitchen.  Each weeks participants have a chance to win a $25 gift card to Fleet Feet.  Various distances and prices over dates ranging between April 22 and May 13th.

Armed Forces Virtual 5K Virtual 5K to benefit the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund. Run Anywhere between May 22nd - July 4th! Every participant will receive a shirt and challenge coin.

Her Tribe Athletics 5 Mile Road Race Proceeds go to The Stork Project, which is a non profit organization based out of Hollis, NH. The stork project provides food, formula, blankets, clothes & other infant needs to moms in NH in low income areas and hospitals.  $30 or $20 age 18 and under, run between June 27th and July 4th.

The Great Virtual Race Across Tennessee 1000K is raising money for food banks in TN, as well as a dog/pet division that will be donating race proceeds to animal shelters in TN.  $60/$30.

One NY Virtual Challenge is donating all add on donations and a portion of the proceeds to Direct Relief NY, which is working in overdrive to get protective gear and critical care medications to as many health workers as possible, as quickly as possible.

RaceWire's Miles 4 My Community Their goal is to support organizations who are helping address, or impacted by, the COVID 19 outbreak, as well as youth sports organizations.  Please see their Web site for more information on their partners and the charities they support.
