GCS/GLRR Challenge

Still have that sour taste in your mouth after we lost the Mill Cities Relay to Greater Lowell by a single point back in 2019? Here’s our chance to win back some redemption. Greater Lowell has challenged us to a team challenge. Teams of 3 will compete for 6 weeks – two individuals will run a 5k, the third will run a 10k. Those results will be submitted each week, and the points will be scored based on age groups like we see at Mill Cities (open (m/f/coed), sub-masters (30-39) (m/f/coed), masters (40+) (m/f/coed), etc). In the end, the points will be added up and a winner will be crowned. There is also an individual component. Everyone is a part of our team here! Start thinking of your teammates, come up with a great name, and stay tuned for more information coming very shortly.

GCS Half Hunt

Grab a fellow teammate and pair up to complete the GCS Half Hunt this April! Run around Nashua and complete the 13.1 listed items while documenting your adventure to complete your Half Hunt. Stay tuned to your email, more information is coming very soon!

New Hampshire Grand Prix

We’re back this year to defend our NHGP title! ALL runners are welcome. Every runner counts, every point counts!
• Virtual Track 5k – Any track, May 1 through July 1. Info to follow.
• Bill Luti 5M – Concord, NH, July 17
• Sandown 5M – Sandown, NH, August 7
• Rail Trail 10k – Lebanon, NH, September, date TBD.
• Manchester Half Marathon – Manchester, NH, November 7 ($5 discount code available)
The NHGP clubs have agreed to adopt a new scoring system on a provisional basis for 2021. The system is designed to encourage more NH clubs to participate in the series, and to be more inclusive to all runners. The NHGP website will be updated in the near future with the details of the provisional scoring system.

Still more to come!

We’re currently working on several items including some in-person activities. We’re developing a plan to have in-person outdoor track following all protocols, Carolina is hard at work figuring out Fitness University this year and the Mine Falls Summer Trail Series race directors are also hard at work developing a plan. There is even a chance we may have a few invitational entries to the Boston Marathon coming as well. We should know more in the next two weeks. Stay tuned! Much more to come!Take care and see you on the roads!
