This week’s kudos go out to Sara Landry who PR’d at Cinco de Miles over the weekend! Congrats! If you or anyone you know has run a PR or had a significant accomplishment, please let me know!

Fitness University is nearing capacity for this summer, about 100 spots remain, if you know of anyone who would like their kids to take part in this program, get them signed up today. Sign-up link on the GCS website. https://www.gatecity.org/fitness-university/

May 18th – NEGP – Westfield 5k – please let Brandyn Naro know if you plan on running May 19th – NHGP – Gate City Marathon, Half Marathon and Relay – http://www.gcsmarathon.org/ there’s a discount code for the races. Help us take back the lead over Upper Valley on our home course. NEED VOLUNTEERS – can still volunteer if you’re running the half or relay. May 20th – Best of Boston – Nashua Country Club – 7pm We’ll honor the fastest man and woman from NH along with the fastest man and woman Gate City Strider running this past year’s Boston Marathon.

June 3rd – Start of Trail Series – still need a few volunteers – see Jennifer Jordan

June 18th – start of Fitness University – need more volunteers especially a couple of group leaders – see Carolina Keri Tumminelli

On top of our very generous race reimbursement plan (https://www.gatecity.org/race-reimbursement-program/), volunteering and being active in the club can help make you eligible to earn one of the bypass numbers the club usually gets each year to run the Boston Marathon. We have plenty of programs in need of volunteers in the near future.
